Apply the whitening gel to the surface of the teeth to be whitened. (generally, this may include from 16-20 of the front teeth.
 

Apply the Whitening Activator (light-initiated film) to cover the teeth which have been coated with the whitening gel.
 
 

Insert the cold-light unit into the fixed slot of the cheek retractor. Turn on the start switch to begin the 20-minute treatment. Turn off the unit when you hear the beep.
